What would I need to do to get of links in my Revit file that are not pinned?
Hi Gilly,
That data can be gathered using Bimbeats’ Revit Snapshot
Filter for OST_RvtLinks Category, and Name Parameter. This includes a field called element.is.pinned.
See PowerBI sample here.
Using this Snapshot template.
Here is a link to our Freshdesk Article on how to use Revit Snapshot.
Due to limitations within Kibana, it is not possible to visualize the requested data using Lens, such as a list of unpinned grids.
The attached a sample PowerBI file can be used to visualize a list of unpinned grids, levels, and Revit Links, after the data has been ingested via Revit Snapshot.
To access your Kibana Data in PowerBI:
- Open the Advanced Editor.
- Replace the api_key value with your Kibana API key.
- Replace the url value with your Elasticsearch endpoint URL. (You can access it from https://cloud.elastic.co/home and then navigate to your deployment page.)
- Right-click the revit_snapshot query and select Enable Load.
- When Power BI prompts you for web content access, choose Anonymous and Connect.
I hope this breakdown gets you the data you need!
